Our practice has always emphasized quality visits, with plenty of time to address your concerns. With our slower pace, we have never been an office with a crowd of people and long wait times to see the doctor. However, we are taking action to reduce your risk of exposure to the coronavirus even further.

  • Health supervision visits for adolescents and young adults are postponed for now.

  • Appointments for patients with ongoing health issues will be postponed, occur less frequently, or moved to telehealth, depending on your particular situation.

  • New patients with eating disorders or other urgent health concerns may schedule appointments. One or both parents may attend the first part of the appointment (discussion of the problem, family history, etc.) via telehealth.

  • Patients are asked to come to the office unaccompanied if possible. If not, please bring only one parent or guardian with you. If you are under 18 (or 18 and over at your request), a designated parent will receive a personal phone call or telehealth appointment to review findings and recommendations if not present at the visit.

  • Patients who are sick with fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms should not to come to the office. Please set up a telehealth appointment with Dr. Schack, so that next steps can be determined. Most cases of COVID-19, especially in young people, can be treated at home.

  • Visits will be scheduled so that only one patient is in the office at a time, and with as much time between patients as possible. Exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between patients.

  • We recommend that you use the stairway, rather than the elevator, if possible. We are on the third floor.
