Dr. Linda Schack

Dr. Linda Schack received her M.D. degree from Tulane University in 1986. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and went on to pursue an adolescent medicine fellowship there. She then became an assistant professor of pediatrics and adolescent medicine at the UCLA Medical Center, leaving in 1994 to open her private practice. Dr. Schack is the Medical Director of Torrance Memorial Medical Center’s Medical Stabilization Program for Patients with Eating Disorders. She is a member of the Society for Adolescent Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics subboard of Adolescent Medicine.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Schack enjoys listening to and playing music, cooking, knitting, photography, yoga, and riding to work on her bicycle whenever possible. She is married and has two children in college.

Jill Maroney, Office Manager

Jill Maroney has always enjoyed working with teenagers and young adults; before joining Dr. Schack’s practice she worked as a library assistant at West High School in Torrance. Jill has been very active in the community; she served on the Torrance PTA executive board, was Vice President of the Torrance Sister City Association, and President of the Torrance Historical Society. In 2018 she was one of four women honored as South Bay Women of the Year. Jill has raised two daughters, who are now young adults. When not in the office, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family, which now includes 2 grandchildren.

As Dr. Schack’s office manager, Jill sets up appointments and handles all business matters for Dr. Schack’s patients.
