Dr. Linda Schack received her M.D. degree from Tulane University in 1986. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles and went on to pursue an adolescent medicine fellowship there. She then became an assistant professor of pediatrics and adolescent medicine at the UCLA Medical Center, leaving in 1994 to open her private practice. Dr. Schack is the Medical Director of Torrance Memorial Medical Center’s Medical Stabilization Program for Patients with Eating Disorders. She is a member of the Society for Adolescent Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics subboard of Adolescent Medicine.
In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Schack enjoys listening to and playing music, cooking, knitting, photography, yoga, and riding to work on her bicycle whenever possible. She is married and has two teenagers of her own, and a rambunctious labrador retriever.
